Brett Mecum “Waterboarded”: Loses election by a landslide

Many of us know Brett Mecum as the fired Executive Director of the Arizona Republican party. Maybe you remember the racy photo of him getting a simulated blowjob while dressed as Captain America, or the allegation that he tried to sell endorsements, or maybe a stalking complaint by a woman who found him "creepy." However, most of us Remember Brett Mecum for his poor judgment getting caught speeding 109 MPH then arrested and drug out of GOP party headquarters screaming. The name Brett Mecum has become an insult in Arizona. If you say you were "Mecumed" it means to be up a creek without a paddle; to have the whole world in the palm of your hand and blow it.


Recently, Brett Mecum dared to run for the Central Arizona Water Conservation District board. He had “stiff” competition in a field of 10 candidates. The top 5 candidates with the most votes were elected to the water board. We are sorry to inform Politico Mafioso readers that he has let everyone “down.” Out of all of the candidates, Mecum came in 9^th place.

 

This is terrible when Brett Mecum claims to be such an expert running political campaigns but can’t even seem to win a race. In fact, this was Mecum’s first election and probably his last in Arizona. This buffoon has caused more trouble than anyone in the Arizona history. He could not politically manage his way out of a paper bag. The overweight, balding Mecum has been banished to running political campaigns in Tucson and has now been downgraded to running for the Arizona water board. Rumor has it that Mecum has put his name of the ballot for dog catcher next year. Even that election will be a “bitch” for him to win.
